Data in Tab. 7.5 are based on the divisions in the map: A Western Europe, B East Europe, C Ural, D West and Middle Siberia, E Eastern Siberia, F North East Asia, G Western America, H Eastern America, I Greenland. The lower dendrogram summarises the similarity of the faunas in eight of the diff erent sectors (from Babenko 2005, Babenko & Fjellberg 2006). Clustering was carried out using the Unweighted Pair Group Method with Centroid Averaging (UPGMC).
